The first step in getting the "Plastic Free Eastbourne" award is for the Town Council to debate the issue and approve the proposal. I have been invited to paticipate and shall be attending this meeting on Wednesday next, 21st February at 6pm and will speak in support. This is massive, since without the council's support, we would not be able to make a further move! I would appreciate any support from like-minded people and ask you to come and be part of the members of the public. This would not only encourage me but would also show the council that there is growing interest and support in the community.
