Reducing
Helping shoppers us less packaging
SEA is attempting to work with local firms and businesses, especially shops to provide us with opportunities to make purchases using less packaging. This will take massive effort and time.
Constant Clean Up
On a regular basis, say once every week, volunteers take a section of beach and clear up some debris. The result is then recorded either with a photo, or as a weight or as a tally of items, noting particularly "interesting" finds. These could be the largest, most surprising, most numerous, for example. The section to the East of Holywell Tea Chalet is the core of this initiative but it will ~ and does~ include members who live all over the world. This is intended to be an eclectic group.
Education & Outreach
Making a Difference
School children are the future planet wardens and guardians. We hope to liaise with local schools and other educational bodies in order to involve them in our work.

Through our Community Development, we have the potential to make a real and positive change in the community. This is one of our key areas of focus here at SEA ~ Survival Equals Action, and a source of much success for our Volunteer Organization. Tackling the Issue
Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them. We are just starting out so we have yet to evaluate our impact. Hopefully, we will be able to engage with as many local , national and international bodies. We have begun and are part of the Marine Conservation Society.
